4 Brides Who Customized Lehengas To Make It Their Own

Don’t we all love things that reflect who we are, or have our own name on it, so they can be personal to us? From Starbucks cups to engraved watches to even just having keychains with our initials, it feels precious to have something that truly belongs to us.
Customization isn’t a new concept, especially for weddings. When you’re curating the entire wedding to suit your personality, taking time out to carefully select the perfect first dance songs, spending the day surrounded by your family and friends who make you feel loved, then customizing your lehenga to suit your choices is the most natural way to go.
As designers, we’re ecstatic when a bride takes our designs and lifts it up with her own personality, making the lehenga come alive just for her. If you’re looking for some inspiration on how to do the same, we brought together four of our favorite brides, showing you step - by - step how we helped them curate their wedding lehenga!
1. Risha Bhagat - Zoya Lehenga
Risha Bhagat customized the Zoya lehenga with her own flair for colors, and chose a beautiful light peach version of the Zoya lehenga.
“I had a great experience ordering my bridal lehenga from Chamee and Palak. I purchased it virtually from Australia and the entire experience was so smooth. The team provided their input around colors and embroidery and customized the top style exactly how I wanted it! I loved how the outfit turned out and how in line it was with what was shown to me during the process. The delivery was smooth and I liked how I was kept in the loop throughout” said the bride.

2. Veda Shastri - Peacock Lehenga
This happy and relaxed bride, Veda Shastri customized her Peacock lehenga in a pink base with complimentary colors for the embroidery. We loved how warm and soft the lehenga looks with her choices!

3. Gurjeet - Liza Lehenga
Bride Gurjeet wanted to customize the lehenga for her Gurudwara wedding. So, she chose longer sleeves and blouse lengths, and opted for maroon hints in her embroidery. We gave her a maroon dupatta to go over her head during the ceremony.
“Where do I even start? I am usually not one to right reviews, but I feel compelled to. To everyone at Chamee and Palak, thank you for making my wedding outfit dreams come to life and making it such an effortless process even though we coordinated everything from being in different countries. Your staff is extremely courteous and kind and most of all, you are punctual with your deadlines. From the bottom of my heart, thank you again!”

4. Pooja Preeti - Frida Lehenga
Bride Pooja Preeti chose our Frida lehenga but wanted it to be blue to match the vibe of her wedding and the ceremony!
“Chamee and Palak were such an amazing team. Initially, I was skeptical to buy a lehenga online but their entire team made sure my experience was top notch. The video calls certainly helped. I remember going through their websites multiple times in a day because I just could not finalize on one design. Their entire collection is breathtaking. From helping me pick the perfect lehenga to suggesting customization to picking the right shade, my experience was amazing. Everyone loved my lehenga, it was just perfect for our sangeet night. I would highly recommend them to all brides.”
